Accessibility

The Market's public spaces are fitted with wheelchair accessible ramps throughout and between each level. However, The Haymans Social sports bar and restaurant to the left of the entertainments section (LED mega screen) is only accessible via stairs due to its historic nature.

There are no lifts or escalators throughout Haymans and the passageways are a varying widths - from 1.5 meter to 4 meters. During peak times, in particular Friday night, Saturday and Sunday mornings to mid-day, visitor numbers can be high.

Sustainability

Haymans takes pride in its sustainability efforts to keep the Market clean and eco-friendly. In order to combat unsustainable practices, Haymans has repurposed not only the factory itself, but many materials inside as well from all around the island.

We believe Barbados has a long way to go to become a fully eco-friendly island and are happy to play a part in helping it grow closer to that. We keep Haymans clean, so should you.

Dog Policy

Dogs: Dogs are welcome to join you at the Market; however we ask that you please abide by these six rules to make your pets visit to the Market a good experience for everyone:

1. Dogs must be kept on a short leash.

2. Dogs must be under control and by the owner's side at all times.

3. Keep dogs away from produce, plants, and other food products.

4. Dogs must be friendly with other dogs and children to earn the right to be at the Market.

5. Be considerate- not everyone loves dogs and some customers are allergice to animals.

6. Don't forget to clean up after your dog.
